There are four Harland Hostels. The main hostel - Harland House - is in an extended version of Vivienne and Geoff Harland’s old home. This is the junior boys’ and girls’ hostel and also the intermediate girls’ hostel. The intermediate boys, senior boys, and senior girls all have their own hostels, usually in separated rented houses.
Each of the hostels is aimed to function as a family, led by mentoring adults (the "aunties" and "uncles") and with the children working together as siblings.
